Manifesto
We believe that attention is finite, and that what we give it to shapes us. The culture of endless feeds treats listening as something to be gotten through. We do not.
We believe a recommendation is a kind of care. To say experience this is to spend trust, and trust is spent honestly only when it is earned slowly. So we recommend rarely, and we recommend only what we would return to ourselves.
We believe that how a thing is experienced matters as much as whether it is encountered at all. A work met in the wrong moment, in the wrong room, at the wrong pace, is not the same work. Part of our task is to help you arrive well.
We are not critics. We do not rank, score, or sit in judgment. We are guides: we point toward what is worth your attention, we tell you how to experience it, and then we step aside.
This is what we intend to keep doing — quietly, and for a long time.
